There are a variety of packages to choose from and custom trips are available as well to ensure that you have the experience you are looking for!

All Lake Creek Anglers packages include round-trip air-fare from Anchorage to Bulchitna Lake including 70 pounds of gear. Also included in Lake Creek Anglers packages is the 5% Matanuska-Susitna Borough bed tax. Once you arrive at the cabins, you will fish the great Alaskan waters according to the Alaskan Fishing Regulations (Click Here). You will have to secure your Alaskan Fishing License (Click Here) before your trip and bring your own fishing gear. The views are breathtaking and landing your catch is an experience you will never forget.

It’s easy to start your Lake Creek Anglers adventure. Just call us at (877) 522-7859 or email info@lakecreekanglers.com to begin the process. We’ll work with you to choose an appropriate time for the type of fishing you are looking for and secure your reservation in our facilities in Alaska. To guarantee your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total package price is required at the time of booking. The outstanding balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

There are some important forms to fill out and submit for each reservation. The Waiver and Release Agreements (Click Here) must be filled out and submitted prior to your trip.

Most fishermen fly into Anchorage the day before they arrive at Lake Creek Anglers. They spend the night in Anchorage and then fly out early the next morning to Bulchitna Lake. A hotel that we recommend is the Long House. It is close to Lake Hood and has a great freezer with outstanding customer service and a great shuttle service. You will be responsible for making any reservations with a hotel regarding your stay in Anchorage. Costs of a hotel are not included in our price. The Long House phone number is 1-888-243-2133. The day of your trip to Lake Creek, you will be responsible for arriving at Regal Air which is located on Lake Hood. We will coordinate your departure from Regal Air. The cost of your flight to Bulchitna Lake is included in our price. Remember that Alaska’s state bird is the mosquito, so dress appropriately for this flight because you may be eaten alive once you arrive at Bulchitna Lake! At this time you are allowed to check two 50 pound bags/coolers on commercial flights. This is what is also allowed at Regal Air. Since you will be responsible for all your meals, we recommend that you bring one bag filled with your gear and one cooler filled with your food. There are times when Regal Air may not be able to fly you in with all your gear. You will be asked to bring only your fishing supplies to tide you over until your supplies arrive later in the day. A carry on would be appropriate for this.

You will be staying five nights at Lake Creek Angler’s cabins. The nights require a light sleeping bag. Fishing hours on the river are from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm. You are allowed to “kill” five King Salmon a year. The basic rule is that if you land and kill a fish, then you are done fishing until the next morning. This ensures that you will not end up poaching a fish in case the next fish dies after hooking it. You can hook and land as many fish as you like, as long as you release the healthy fish. The regulations state that if you take the fish all the way out of the water, then you must kill and keep the fish. Keep this in mind when unhooking and taking pictures. Nets will be provided, however if they are not taken care of, they will be deducted from the cleaning/supply deposit.
